GPS From Toronto Highway #400 to Highway #11. Then Highway #11 north to North Bay. From North Bay west about 24 km on Highway #17 to Riding Stable Road, then north 6.3 km to the gate and 1.5 km to the lake. From Sudbury Highway #17 east to Sturgeon Falls, continue east to Riding Stable Road, and north 6.3 km to the gate. From Ottawa Highway #17 west to North Bay, continue west about 24 km on Highway #17 to Riding Stable Road, then 6.3 km north to the gate. A Note About Riding Stable Road From the time
that you turn off Highway #17 onto Riding Stable Road to the time that
you arrive at the entrance gate to Jewel Lake Wilderness you will travel
exactly 6.3 km. Drive the road slowly as it is a rural road. After 6.3
km you will notice a driveway entrance to the right. Appearing about 5
metres from the road you will see the JLW sign (see image above). The drive
from this point to the JLW campsite is 1.5 kilometres in from the road.
